TUCSON - Pitcher Jenny Gladding provided the offense with two home runs and six runs batted in, then backed it up with one-hit pitching to highlight top-ranked Arizona's 10-0 victory over South Florida (5-7-1) in the Wildcats' third game of the Pepsi Arizona Softball Classic on Saturday.

The lefty slugger hit a grand slam in the first and a two-run homer in the fourth. She held the Bulls hitless until the bottom of the fifth when Holly Groves led off with a single through the right side. The game was shortened to five innings by the eight-run rule.

Lovie Jung doubled and Mackenzie Vandergeest reached on an error to set up Jennie Finch's two-run single, as Arizona scored UA scored two more runs in the second, both unearned, to make it 7-0.

Freshman Jackie Coburn hit her second home run of the season, a leadoff shot down the rightfield line, to open the UA's third inning.

Gladding, the UA team leader with five home runs, helped give UA (10-2) its 50th consecutive home field victory at Hillenbrand Stadium.
