PALO ALTO, Calif. ?- The Arizona women’s golf team is in 9th place after the first round at the Stanford-Pepsi Women’s Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, Calif.

“Overall, we are right in the middle, we broke 300 for the first time this season,” head coach Greg Allen said.  “We’ve got a team that can compete, we just need to put together 18 wholes of golf, today we played well through about 15.”
