TUCSON, Ariz. ?- The No. 3 Arizona softball team (8-0) used a sixth inning rally to defeat No. 18 Missouri (2-2), 4-1, in UA’s second game of the Worth Wildcat Invitational.

Senior pitcher Alicia Hollowell (4-0) scattered five hits over seven shutout innings, as she struck out 14 Tigers.  Jen Bruck (2-2) was the tough luck loser, giving up just one earned run and four hits in five and two-thirds innings pitched.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the sixth, when the heart of UA’s order got things going.  Kristie Fox walked, before being pinch run for by Kelly Nelson.  Chelsie Mesa doubled to left-center, scoring Nelson for the first run of the game.  From there nothing went Mizzou’s way, as the Tigers committed a pair of errors and Jenae Leles tripled to give UA a, 4-0, lead.

Arizona continues play in the Worth Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, when UA takes on Texas Tech at 4 p.m. and N.C. State at 6 p.m.
