CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The No. 21 Arizona volleyball team snapped a four-game losing streak and earned its first Pacific-10 victory of the season tonight, a 3-1 (25-30, 30-24, 30-28, 30-27) win at Oregon State. With the victory, the Wildcats improve to 9-6 overall and 1-4 in Pac-10 play.
Arizona out-hit the Beavers .241 to .152 and out-blocked Oregon State 13-9.
"It was nice to get a Pac-10 win," Head Coach David Rubio said. "Hopefully it's the first of many."
Junior Kim Glass led the way for the Wildcats, finishing with 22 kills and 12 digs, while senior Jolene Killough added 16 kills and six blocks. Sophomore Meghan Cumpston finished with 15 kills and 10 digs, and junior Bre Ladd added seven kills and six blocks.
Setter Stephanie Butkus dished out 54 assists to go along with six digs and five blocks. Libero Kelli Mulvany notched a team-high 13 digs.
Arizona faces Oregon at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 9.
