TUCSON, Ariz. -

Head coach Vicky Maes and Arizona’s No. 27-ranked women’s tennis team (14-8, 4-5) will host No. 37 Arizona State (10-10, 2-7) on Friday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at Robson Tennis Center.

Fans are encouraged to wear red, as Arizona will host a Zona Zoo Day for the event. The event is free to the public.

The match will be the last homestand for seniors Natasha Marks (Nottingham, England), Sarah Landsman (Syosset, N.Y.) and Debora Castany (Barcelona, Spain).

An Arizona win would mark the first against ASU since 2004 and the first for current team members.

The Wildcats are coming off a weekend sweep of newcomers Colorado and No. 43 Utah. UA defeated both schools 7-0 after winning both doubles points and all singles matches. The victories maintained Arizona’s undefeated home record and extended its streak to 12 matches.

Arizona State is coming off its first win in six matches after defeating Colorado on Saturday.

The Sun Devils boast some of the country’s top players, including No. 15 Jacqueline Cako and No. 87 Michelle Brycki. Cako also joins Nicole Smith for the No.56-ranked doubles team.

The match marks the last in the regular season for both teams, with the Pac-12 Tournament beginning on Thursday, April 26.
