TUCSON, Ariz.Arizona volleyball (9-8, 1-5 Pac-12) will continue its four-match road swing when it travels to Utah (10-9, 1-5 Pac-12) and Colorado (12-6, 2-4 Pac-12) over the weekend.

The Wildcats will take on Utah on Friday at 7 p.m. and Colorado on Sunday at 5 p.m. Both matches will air live on the Pac-12 Networks.

Sophomore Madi Kingdon (Phoenix, Ariz.) leads the Wildcats and ranks fourth in the Pac-12 in kills at 4.24 per set, while ranking seventh in the league in points at 4.58 per set. Junior libero Candace Nicholson (Long Beach, Calif.) leads the squad and ranks fourth in the conference in digs with 4.23 per set. Freshman Olivia Magill (Seattle, Wash.) continues to be efficient as she ranks sixth in the Pac-12 with a .364 hitting percentage. 

The Wildcats are coming off a pair of losses against top-10 foes. Arizona was defeated by No. 5 USC last Friday and No. 6 UCLA on Sunday.

Utah (10-9, 1-5 Pac-12)

Match Time: 7 p.m.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Arena: Crimson Court

Series: Arizona leads, 16-4

Last Time Out: Arizona defeated Utah 3-0 in Tucson on November 11, 2011.

Series History vs. Utah

The Wildcats swept the season series against the Utes last season. Arizona won in four-sets in Salt Lake City before earning a straight set victory in Tucson. The Cats lead the all-time series against the Utes, 16-4. Arizona has won four straight matches against Utah and eight of the last 10.

Scouting Utah

Utah is fourth in the NCAA and second in the Pac-12's latest statistical rankings with a 3.15 block-per-set average as a team. Utah is also tied for third in the league statistics with 3.25 blocks per set during Pac-12 matches. The Utes have out-blocked their foes in 13 matches this season and currently hold a 9-4 mark in those contests. Sophomore middle blocker Bailey Bateman is second in the Pac-12 with 1.53 blocks per set this season. She is tied for fifth in the league with 1.50 blocks per set in conference matches.

Colorado (12-6, 2-4 Pac-12)

Match Time: 7 p.m.

Location: Boulder, Colo.

Arena: Coors Events/Conference Center

Series: Arizona leads, 3-0

Last Time Out: The Wildcats defeated Colorado 3-2 (25-15, 21-25, 25-14, 18-25, 15-12) in Tucson on November 12, 2011.

Series History vs. Colorado

The Wildcats lead the all-time series against the Buffaloes, 3-0. Arizona won both meetings last season and its only other meeting against Colorado on September 14, 1990.

Scouting the Buffaloes

Freshman outside hitter Alexis Austin is pacing CU with 2.95 kills per set this season. Junior middle blocker Nikki Lindow is second on the team with 2.30 kills per set and is hitting .285 this season. Freshman setter Nicole Edelman has directed the Buffs to a .216 hitting percentage and has passed out 9.42 assists per set this year, which is eighth in the conference. Junior libero Elysse Richardson is averaging 2.63 digs per set and freshman defensive specialist Chelsey Keoho is averaging 2.30 digs per set. CU has been a force at the net, recording 2.48 blocks per set. Lindow leads CU with 1.44 blocks per set, which is 19th in the NCAA and fourth in the conference. Sophomore middle blocker Kelsey English is just below 1.00 blocks per set (0.88).

The Wildcats return home next weekend to host No. 5 Oregon and Oregon State inside the McKale Center.
