TUCSON, Ariz. ?C The University of Arizona menˇ?s golf team shot a 301 Sunday and stands in 17th place at the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational in Windermere, Fla.

Arizonaˇ?s opening-round 301 (+13) was its second-highest round of the season and left the Wildcats in 17th place, 17 strokes behind the leaders. Oklahoma State, host UCF and USC are all tied for first in the 18-team field with 284 totals through the first round. Wake Forest (285) and Florida State (286) round out the top-five places.

Tarquin MacManus was the only Wildcat to finish under par on Sunday, as the freshman from Cairns, Queensland, Australia, carded a one-under 71 and stands in a tie for 17th place individually after one round. Teammate Trey Denton is tied for 34th place at one-over 73.

Senior Creighton Honeck and junior Tyler Neal are tied for 68th and 86th places, respectively, after posting rounds of 76 (+4) and 81 (+9). Freshman Andrew Kelly is in 89th place after shooting a 13-over 85.

The Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational continues through Tuesday at Isleworth Golf & Country Club, a par 72, 7,449-yard layout. Live tournament stats are available at .
