TUCSON, Ariz. ?C The University of Arizona menˇ?s golf team was ranked 25th in the Golf World magazine preseason Coachesˇ? Poll.

Arizona received 138 points in the debut poll of the 2007-08 season, which was just enough to place the Wildcats in the preseason top 25. UA was one of five Pac-10 schools included in the listing. Stanford (759 points) topped the poll, while Alabama (714), Georgia (679), Florida (659) and UCLA (636) rounded out the top-five places.

The Wildcats open the 2007-08 season, Sept. 8, at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
