When the second day of play came to a close at the Cal Nike Invitational the Cats still had a lot to prove to themselves.

In doubles play Sarah Landsman and Debora Castany beat Elizaveta Ezhova and Elle Camey of BYU and followed with another win versus the California doubles team of Cate Visico and Stephany Chang, in the blue division. In the gold division Susan McRann and Natasha Marks lost to Laura Pola and Marianne Jodoin from Fresno State.

In singles play Natasha won 3-6, 7-5, and 10-6 in a super tiebreaker against Alessandra Ferrazi from Minnesota. Sarah played ASU's Micaela Hein for a loss with a score of 3-6, 6-3 and 10-7. Debora lost against USC's Cristila Andrews with a score of 6-2, 6-0, and Susan lost 6-3, 6-3 to Michelle Okremchk of UNR.

The Wildcats enter the final day of play in hopes to prove their skill and come out with their heads held high.
