Head Coach Sean Miller
On a win that "had everything":
"It did. I think you look at our conference and the team we just played has lost four games, but that doesn't mean they're going to keep losing. They've had a tough early schedule; they're a really good basketball team. I thought Jared Cunningham played really well and made some key plays down the stretch. Give credit to Oregon State for coming in here and taking us to the brink in front of the greatest fans in college basketball."
On Brendon Lavender:
"The story of the game is Brendon Lavender. I've never been around a guy that commits to a process like he does. Every day it's the same thing. Tonight he was huge. He made five threes at key moments in the game. It seemed like they all came when our backs were against the wall. If he doesn't make five threes, we don't beat Oregon State. Credit Brendon tonight."
On Kyle Fogg:
"Kyle went 6-for-6 from the foul line. He's got the experience to make big plays and he did that tonight. When Kyle takes care of the ball, we're a much better basketball team. He did that tonight; Kyle didn't have a turnover. He was being aggressive getting to the rim. Keep in mind that he guarded Jared Cunningham all night as well."
On getting the ball inside:
"We had a hard time getting the ball in the paint. Jesse (Perry) didn't have his best game tonight. When we went to the half, Jesse had zero points. It's tough to be successful when your leading scorer has zero points at the half."
#24 Brendon Lavender
On the crazy ending
"It was emotional. We wanted to win. We've been working hard and we were excited to win. It was a crazy game, they were really aggressive. Both teams love to compete and wanted to win."
If there was more trash-talking during the game
"No it was the same. Like I said, it was emotional. The talking was the same as usual."
On Coach Miller's reaction to fight
"Coach said when stuff happens, stay on the bench. It's not helping us win even though we want to save our players."
On his shots tonight
"That's my job. I am one of the best shooters on the court. I'm glad my teammates found me on the court. I've been working hard on my shot during practice. My teammates did a great job.
On tying career-high
"It was more meaningful to me this time. It was a conference game and I hit clutch shots for us."
On thinking about the magnitude of his play
"In the game I'm in the zone. I focus on the moment. I'm pumped up and happy but I'm not thinking about that stuff."
On this win propelling the team forward
"When you practice as hard as we practice, and then for us to win the game, the outcome puts our spirits high. We're in the best position for the next game."
On the potential challenge to come back for next game
"We have to put this game to bed. Coach does a good job at setting us up for the next game."
