TUCSON - A top-10 finish from junior Margarita Ramos led the No. 11 University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Wednesday. The three-round event was played at the Boulder Creek Golf Course (par 72/6,329 yards).

"We're obviously disappointed every time we don't come away with a victory but there were a few bright spots this week," head coach Laura Ianello said. "Margarita Ramos continued to lead the team and she collected her third top-10 finish this year. The team has some work to do before the Pac-10/SEC Challenge but we're confident we will have our best stuff ready for next week."
