Arizona sophomore Giles Smith (Baltimore, Md.) was named one of six Counsilman Hunsaker Swimmers of the Week on Wednesday, collegeswimming.com announced on Wednesday.
Smith had three wins to help his team to a 170-114 dual meet victory over Arizona State on Saturday. The sophomore won the 200 freestyle (1:37.26, NCAA “B” Time), the 100 fly (56.63 NCAA “B” Time) and the 200 free relay (1:19.60, NCAA “B” Time).
Smith is joined by Whitman College’s Galen Sollom-Brotherton, Widener’s Laura Farrar, Wayne State University’s Andrew Seryy, Indianapolis’ Maura Donahue and USC’s Kasey Carlson.
