Head Coach Vicky Maes: "Iza has made great strides on every level. She is tougher on and off the court, and I feel strongly that she will have very successful senior years." 


Arizona-Junior Year (2004-05): Compiled a 2-7 singles record ... Played only two matches in the spring season, both in the Pac-10 Outdoor Championships ... Went 2-1 with Kelly Perry in three doubles matches during the fall season.


Arizona - Sophomore Year (2003-04): Competed primarily in the No. 6 position for the Wildcats ... Earned a 6-17 record on the season ... Had a doubles record of 3-5 when paired with freshman Jessie Rochefort ... Transferred to Arizona from Southwest Baptist University.


Southwest Baptist University - Freshman Year (2002-2003):  Named freshman of the year ... Compiled an overall singles record of 16-1 ... Earned a 10-11 doubles record when paired with Valerie Jones.


High School: Attended Colegio Energia. 


Personal: Daughter of Elias and Solange Ferreira ... Date of Birth: Sept. 10, 1984 ... Major is mechanical engineering.


Why Arizona? Transferred to Arizona from Southwest Baptist because of the great athletics program and the beautiful campus.


Favorites: Enjoys going to the beach in her hometown, eating food that other people make ... Favorite food is a mango-pineapple-coconut smoothie ... Likes to hike the mountains near Tucson ... Favorite place to play tennis (other than UA) is in Florianopolis, Brazil.


Personal Goals for 2006: “To play in the line-up and to help my team anyway I can."
