STANFORD, Calif. - The Arizona women's golf team shot an eleven-under-par 277 to take a 15-shot lead after day one of the Stanford/Pepsi Invitational. Individually, the Wildcats occupy the top three spots.

Arizona's freshmen duo of Lorena Ochoa and Natalie Gulbis led the way with opening rounds of 66 and 67, respectively. Gulbis is participating in her first collegiate competition this weekend.
