TUCSON, Ariz. - As the calendar nears October, don't miss the opportunity to catch the men's basketball team in a little preseason action, as the the Red-Blue Game is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 24.

The annual intra-squad scrimmage will begin at 1 p.m. MST in McKale Center. Head coach Sean Miller and the 2010-11 edition of the Wildcats take to the court for the first time. It marks the first of two exhibition opportunities before the UA opens the regular season on Nov. 14 vs. Idaho State.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and fans in attendance will have the opportunity to pick up the 2010-11 Arizona men's basketball schedule poster, schedule card and schedule magnet while supplies last. The Arizona Adaptive Athletics wheelchair basketball team members will scrimmage on Lute and Bobbi Olson Court. The first half will start at noon and the second half will be played during halftime of the Red-Blue Game. A portion of each ticket sold goes to support Arizona Adaptive Athletics.

One lucky fan will be randomly selected and announced at the 2010 Red-Blue game, to win a pair of season tickets for the upcoming season.

Students will have a chance to win some great prizes as well. Arizona Athletics is giving away a pair of scholarship row tickets to all nine non-conference home games to students in attendance at the Red-Blue game. Also, four students will win a lunch outing with Coach Miller.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for youth (high school age and younger) in advance and $10/$5 at the door. Don't miss out on a great homecoming weekend with both the Red-Blue game and the football game vs. Washington on Oct. 23. Purchase a ticket to the Washington football game and order Red-Blue Game tickets for just $3.
