TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona interim head men's basketball coach Russ Pennell today announced that Garland Judkins will not accompany the team on its trip to College Station, Texas.

"I made the decision that Garland will not travel with us to Texas A&M for failing to meet team obligations," Pennell said.

Judkins, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound freshman guard from Humble, Texas, is averaging 5.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. He has seen action in all six games to date (four starts), and is averaging 23.0 minutes per game.

Arizona (5-1) will meet Texas A&M on Friday, Dec. 5, in College Station as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CST and can be seen nationally on ESPNU.
