ST. GEORGE, Utah ?- The Arizona women’s golf team stands in fifth place after two rounds of play at the BYU Dixie Classic, hosted by Brigham Young University.  The Wildcats shot a 303 (+15) during the first round and a during the second round.  Host BYU stands in first place after carding identical scores of 295 (+7) in the first two rounds, giving the Cougars a six-stroke lead over TCU.


Rachel Newren from BYU leads the field after carding a one-over par 145 on Tuesday.


Junior Alison Walshe is tied for sixth with a two round total of 147 (+3).  The Westford, Mass., product carded scores of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1) in the first and second rounds respectively.


Sophomore Adriana Zwanck is tied for 11th place after carding a six-over par 150 through 36 holes.


Junior Mary Jacobs carded an eleven-over par 155 through two rounds of play and is currently tied for 30th place.  The Godfrey, Ill., native had a strong first round, carding a team-low 73 (+1).


Sophomore Amanda Wilson is tied for 46th place with a score of 158 (+14).


Freshman Brittany Benvenuto carded a 169 (+25) on Tuesday to stand in a tie for 73rd place.
