TUCSON- The Arizona men's tennis team came into Sunday's matches as a team mission. Of the 16 total spots in the ITA West Regional Tournament in Malibu, Calif., singles Main Draw, the Wildcats made up a quarter of the participants. Unfortunately, Arizona did not win one single match all day.

Sophomore Jay Goldman was defeated by the tournaments overall seed Bassam Beidas in three sets. The scores were 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

Junior Pat Metham lost o Pepperdine's Moodi Kamal in two sets with scores of 6-1, 6-2.

Sophomore Andres Carrasco lost to Matt Kecki of USC in three sets with scores of 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.

Junior Andres Arango, the tournaments overall fifth seed, lost to Dennis Lajola in two sets with scores of 6-4, 6-2.

In the consolation bracket, junior Ravid Hazi lost to UC Irvine's Tyler Bowman in two sets with scores of 6-1, 6-1.
