TUCSON, Ariz. (June 20) - The University of Arizona's home football game with Northern Arizona has been moved to Saturday, Aug. 31, announced athletics director Jim Livengood on Thursday. The contest will still kickoff at 7:07 p.m.

"We had scheduled the game for earlier (on Aug. 29) because we were trying to draw a large crowd before Labor Day weekend starts", said Livengood. "But after further discussion with everyone involved, we decided that the prudent thing to do would be to move the game to Saturday. That will be the first week of school, and the campus will be very busy. Moving the game back a couple of days will give everyone a chance to better acclimate to the start of the new school year."

The original date for the contest was previously Thursday, Aug. 29.
