Hello Wildcat Fans!
Growing up in a small town called Warrenton, Ga., in my 18 years of living I never thought that I would be this far away from home. Tucson, AZ is one of the biggest places I have ever been to in my life. When I first arrived here I was scared and I was as quiet as a mouse. Everything around me seemed so new and different from Georgia. With a little bit of time, I started to get familiar with the place and I started to get comfortable with my teammates. Then everything started to fall into place. For a couple of days, I was home sick but I eventually got over it. Becoming a young adult is hard but it's nothing that I can't handle. The more I was around my teammates the better I felt about the place. They always take care of me being that I am the youngest player on the team. They always pushed me in workouts and open gym telling me to always go hard even when I make mistakes. I'm definitely finishing my comfort zone because now you can't stop me from talking. Tucson, AZ is a great place for me and I think that I chose the right place to get an education and play basketball.
My teammates and I are very excited to get the regular season started. It's tough to start on the road but we are ready to get some momentum going. Our practices have been going really well and we have great team chemistry. I think we are going to surprise a lot of people this season. I'm so happy to be a part of this team and all of us working towards the same goals!
Thanks for reading my blog! Go Cats!
