Well, the Pac-10 women's basketball season has reached the halfway point and here are some very random thoughts about what I like and don't like about this season:

  • I like the fact that Arizona is finally playing like Arizona.
  • I like the fact that Stanford is always good. That's a positive thing for the Pac-10.
  • I don't like the fact that Stanford is always good.
  • I like it when Natalie Jones starts playing her best basketball about this time of year.
  • I don't like Pac-10 officiating. How much worse can it get?
  • I don't like the fact that all of Tucson is missing watching Dee-Dee Wheeler play.  (2,060 for Oregon?)
  • I like watching Dee-Dee Wheeler play!
  • I like the fact that Arizona plays Arizona State at home this week. It will not be pleasant for a cocky Sun Devils team.
  • I don't like all of the holiday games because of the postseason Pac-10 Tournament. Either change the date or get rid of it.
  • I do like the fact that Judy Spoelstra is coaching Oregon State. I hope she stays there forever! A sure win is never a bad thing.
  • I don't like those red uniforms the men are wearing on the road. I hope the women stay in blue.
  • I like the fact that Danielle Adefeso is taking pressure off of Polkey.
  • I like Polkey. She has a special place in my heart.
  • I like the fact that Arizona is in the hunt for another title.
  • I like the fact that there are still nine more Pac-10 games. It should be fun!

See you on the radio!
