Women's 1-meter Prelims Get Acrobat Reader

TUCSON, Ariz. - In day two of the Wildcat Invitational Saturday, Victoria Ishimatsu of Southern California won the women's 1-meter event while Arizona State's Constantin Blaha took first place in the men's 3-meter.

 

Arizona's Samantha Pickens had another strong performance finishing runner-up in the 1-meter competition with a score of 290.65.  Pickens moved up three place after the preliminary round

 

Ainsley Oliver also performed well for Arizona on the second day of the invite, finishing eighth in both the preliminaries and the finals with scores of 256.30 and 248.15 respectively.

 

UA's Ashley Herrera scored a 194.00 off the 1-meter in the preliminaries.

 

Andres Guerra scored a 270.20 in the preliminaries for the Wildcats.  His teammates Sean Clark and David Austin also competed and scored 257.25 and 209.60, respectively.

 

Tomorrow, both men and women will dive off platform heights in the final day of the Wildcat Invitational. Events will begin at 11 a.m.
