Renew your Arizona Football Season Tickets and Men's Basketball Priority Now

The Early Online Renewal Deadline has been Extended to 8 a.m. Jan. 27


With the 2008 college football season now complete, it is time to start looking forward to the 2009 season. For the Arizona Wildcats, that means it is time to build off a great 2008 season that ended with a Las Vegas Bowl victory last month over nationally ranked BYU. 

Beginning on Monday, Jan. 12, football season ticket holders can renew their tickets, and men's basketball ticket holders can renew their priortiy amount, online at the official website of Arizona Athletics.  Season ticket holders who renew online by 8 a.m. on Jan. 27 will receive the following benefits:

  • $10 Service fee waived
  • $15 Arizona Athletics Gift Certificate
  • $10 Discount to the Arizona Wildcats online store (min. purchase of $50)

This renewal period is also for Men's Basketball season ticket holders to renew their priority amount as well.  All football season tickets and Men's basketball priority must be renewed by May 1, 2009 to avoid seats and Wildcat Club benefits being lost.  Fans, are encouraged to renew as soon as possible and avoid the deadline. 

Arizona will enter the 2009 season with seven returning starters on each side of the ball, including All-American tight end Rob Gronkowski. Arizona finished the 2008 season ranked No. 16 in scoring offense (36.6 ppg) and No. 24 in total defense (313 ypg).

The Wildcats will host six games in Arizona Stadium where it has posted an impressive 9-4 record over the past two seasons. On the home slate will be a season-opening showdown on Sept. 5 against Central Michigan of the Mid American Conference, a program that has made three consecutive bowl appearances.Arizona will then host its intrastate rival Northern Arizona on Sept. 12, before entering the home conference schedule.

Conference rivals Stanford (Oct. 17), UCLA (Oct. 24), Washington State (Nov. 7) and Oregon (Nov. 21) will travel to Tucson in what should be another highly competitive conference race. Pac-10 schools finished a perfect 5-0 in bowls in 2008.
