The Arizona women’s golf team carded a 313 (+25) in round two of the PING/ASU invitational and currently sits in 14th place.
Leading the Wildcats for the second straight day was freshman Adriana Zwanck who sits in fourth place on the leader board after shooting a 73 (+1) in round two.
Fellow classmate Sommer Scholl, who is competing as an individual, shot a 76 (+4) and is tied for 26th place. Junior Rachel Gavin, also competing as an individual, carded a 78 (+6) and is tied for 46th place.
Freshman teammates Amanda Wilson and Lauren Espinosa shot an 81 (+9) and 80 (+8) in the second round, respectively.
Senior Whitney Welch shot an 81 (+9) and is tied for 81st place heading into round three.
The ASU Sun Devils, who sat atop the leader board after round one, were passed by UCLA in round two. The Bruins carded a 289 (+1), nine strokes better than the second place Sun Devils.
Texas A&M followed by USC and Pepperdine round out the top five teams.
The Wildcats will tee-off for the third and final round tomorrow at 8 a.m.
