Freshman Hassan Adams:
"We wanted to come out and show we are still a good team. That loss (to LSU) hurt us, but it also made us stronger. We're not really searching for chemistry. We are a good team, but we just need to play like a team."
Freshman Chris Rodgers:
"I just wanted to come out and give whatever my team needed to get the victory. I just want to play hard every day in practice and hopefully that will carry over to the games. Today was a good example of that."
"Any time you get a couple of buckets, you can get in a rhythm and get more comfortable out there. You try to get in the flow of the game as quickly as possible. You've got to stay mentally tough. At this level, a lot of things can discourage you. But you need to stay tough and focused."
Senior Jason Gardner:
"Once this team gets back and fully healthy, we're going to be hard to defend on the offensive end. We are going to play teams that are physical like that."
Sophomore Channing Frye:
"This game was a lot of fun. That's a reason why we won. Last game everybody was down and ready to go home. Now, everybody has seen their family and is ready to keep playing hard."
Sophomore Salim Stoudamire:
"It (Rodgers' performance) was a boost from out of the blue. He's going to help us. I'm happy for him."
"That LSU game was a wake-up call for us."
"My conditioning is getting better. My legs, in previous games, have gone out early. But everyday, they get better and better."
Senior Luke Walton:
"The last two weeks have been really frustrating, but it was good to be back. We play differently (when Walton is in the lineup) because they respond to me out there. It gives them a little energy."
"Chris (Rodgers) has the talent to be unbelievable.
Davidson Head Coach Bob McKillop
"All you have to do is look at the stat sheet. We didn't shoot well. That really forced us out of our rhythm. We were forced to take difficult shots. We are a team that hits singles, not home runs. We played outside of our realm."
On Arizona freshman
"The greatest contribution that (Chris) Rodgers brings to the Arizona team is his defense. He created a lot of chaos for us."
"They have great athletes. They defend so aggressively and so well. They could defend shots and could complete plays at the other end when they had to."
On Davidson guard Wayne Bernard
"He got into foul trouble and that broke his rhythm. He grew up in Pac-10 country and playing here tonight, he sees these players and he believes he deserves to be in the group of Pac-10 players."
"At half time I felt good about our position. We were only down by six points. When we came back out, we didn't get into the game quick enough."
