Duke, ASU's Nagl win team and individual titles

SUN RIVER, Ore. (Sept. 15) The University of Arizona women's golf team finished tied for second place at the NCAA Fall Preview, recording an 18-over-par 882 total. Duke took home the team title scoring a 14-over-par 878, at the Crosswater Golf Club (Par 72, 6,502 yards).

Senior Jenna Daniels finished tied for third posting a total of 1-over-par 217 (70-75-72), while sophomore Cristina Baena moved up three spots to finish tied for eighth place shooting 5-over-par 221(74-75-72). Senior Jill Gomric shot a 6-over-par 222 (77-75-70) moving her up 16 places from yesterday to finish tied for 11th place with teammate, freshman Julie Kraschinski who moved up six places (6-over-par 222, 78-72-70). Junior Christina Monteiro finished tied for 75th place scoring a 22-over-par 238 (78-79-81).

Arizona State's Miriam Nagl took home the individual title recording a 14-over-par 878.

Arizona next returns to action at the Dick McGuire Invitational on September 23-35, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
