Arizona Basketball Set To Tip-Off Seasons At Annual Events

The University of Arizona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the annual Men's & Women's Basketball Tip-Off Events on Sunday, November 3 and Monday, November 11.

On Sunday, November 4, the Arizona Women's Basketball team will have their Tip-Off Reception at the Westward Look Resort. Tickets are $25 per person and the reception will begin at 4:30p.m. Coach Joan Bonvicini, her staff and the entire 2002-2003 team will be in attendance.

The Men's Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon will be in the Kiva Ballroom at Loews Ventana Canyon on Monday, November 11. The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon and end at approximately 1:30 p.m. General public tickets are $30 per seat.

Hall of Fame coach Lute Olson will be on hand to discuss the upcoming season and to introduce the team. The luncheon will conclude with a short interview session with some of the student-athletes.
