In continuing with its goal of offering the most comprehensive television coverage of the local sports scene, FSN Arizona will televise both the Arizona State University and University of Arizona football games live this Saturday night. Itˇ?s an unprecedented move by the network and one that was created due to both the Wildcats and Sun Devils having games that kick off at 7 p.m.

In the Phoenix/Northern Arizona markets, Arizona Stateˇ?s game against San Diego State is going to be televised live on all cable systems, DirecTV and DISH beginning at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, in Southern Arizona (Tucson, Yuma) and the state of New Mexico, Arizonaˇ?s game with New Mexico will be seen live at 7 p.m. on the areaˇ?s cable and home satellite systems.

Then at 10:30 p.m., the areas that did not see either the ASU or UA game live, will get it on a tape delay basis. For example, a Cox subscriber in Phoenix will see the UA/New Mexico game via a tape delay at 10:30 p.m. Vice versa, a Cox subscriber in Tucson can watch the ASU/SDSU game delayed at 10:30 p.m.

For this night only, DirecTV and DISH have established an alternate channel in which they will provide the Arizona/New Mexico game. DISH will make the game available on channel 446 while its usual channel for FSN Arizona (415), will show the ASU/SDSU game. As for DirecTV, it will show the Arizona game on channel 660 and its regular channel for FSN Arizona (649) will carry the Arizona State game. The alternate channels will also allow for DirecTV and DISH customers to see both games live, no matter what part of the state they reside.

Additionally, NPG cable in Flagstaff plans to offer the Arizona/New Mexico game live on an alternate channel ?C channel 46, while also airing ASU/SDSU live on its normal channel 58.

For out of market viewers who subscribe to either the DirecTV or DISH sports packages, the regular FSN Arizona channel will carry the ASU/SDSU game and the alternate channels offer the UA/New Mexico game.

There is also another way fans across the county can watch the games and that is via Fox College Sports. The FCS Central channel will carry the UA game live, while the FCS Atlantic channel airs ASUˇ?s game.

FSN Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury. FSN Arizona is currently seen in 2.8 million households in Arizona & New Mexico and can also be seen across the country via home satellite services.
