TUCSON, Ariz - The No. 4 Arizona womenˇ?s swimming team finished their dual meet season off on a good note with a victory over No. 16 Arizona State, in Tempe, Ariz. this afternoon. The score of the meet was 177-111.

Arizonaˇ?s 200 yard medley relay team got the Catˇ?s off to a good start with a win in the event. The team was Ana Agy, Annie Chandler, Lara Jackson and Lacey Nymeyer. Their time was 1:40.65.

Nymeyer finished in first place in two other events. Her time of 1:48.05 was the top time in the 200 yard freestyle. In the 100 yard freestyle she swam a 49.53 which was fast enough for the top spot.

Arizonaˇ?s Jacquelyn Craft finished in first place in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:02.12) and the 200 yard breaststroke 2:14.80.

The Arizona women took the top three spots in the 100 yard backstroke. Finishing in first was Justine Schluntz (54.94), finishing in second was Ana Agy (55.39) and Caitlin Iverson finished in third with a time of 56.44.

Anna Turnerˇ?s time of 22.81 was fast enough for a first place finish in the 50 yard free. She finished in second place in the 100 yard free. Her time was 50.41.

Freshmen, Susanna Helms finished in first place in both the 1000 yard free (10:03.41) and the 500 yard free. Helmsˇ? time in the 500 yard free was 4:55.87.

In the womenˇ?s 1-meter dive, Arizonaˇ?s Holly Kast finished in first place with 262.50 points. Teammate Alison Scaife finished in second (258.45).

Up Next ?C Arizonaˇ?s next meet will be the Pac-10 Championships. The event will be held in Long Beach, Calif. The event starts on Feb. 27 and runs through March 1.
