Recap |  Box Score

Arizona Head Coach Sean Miller

On Arizona's defensive performance:

"If you look at the numbers from the end of the game, we've certainly had better games defensively. Sometimes you have to give credit to the opponent and tonight you have to give credit to Oklahoma; they got the ball inside to (Andrew) Fitzgerald, who was great tonight. Kyle Fogg did a good job against Cade Davis, but as a team they shot 49% which scares you. We did force a lot of turnovers, but that 49% is scary because that can lose you games. I didn't think we were affecting their shots enough. They missed open looks; we didn't cause them to miss enough shots."

On Wednesday's game vs. Cal State Fullerton:

"Every game means a lot. We're 7-1 and Wednesday's game is definitely important."

On the crowd:

"I'd like to thank our crowd tonight. I thought our students were fantastic. The crowd is one of things that make this program special. Our fans deserve the best, that's what they've become accustomed to and that's what we're working toward."

On moving the ball:

"The thing that really stands out to me from tonight's game is our 20 assists. Anytime you pass the ball like that you're putting yourself in a good position to win the game."

Arizona Player Quotes

Derrick Williams

On Oklahoma's intentional foul:

"I thought it was intentionally. It was like that the whole game. He pushed me in the back when I went for the dunk. I didn't want to say anything to him, I had enough fouls already. The Big 12 is physical. They don't have very many big guys so that's how they play to get wins."

On being the opponent's target:

"I've been in foul trouble before and I owe it to my teammates. Kyryl and Tree (Alex Jacobson) do a good job. They are playing hard. Every game here on out I'm going to have a target on my back. Every time I get the ball they crowd the post. I just have to look for my teammates."

On Kyryl Natyazhko technical foul:

"I would take a T for my team too. Ever since the Kansas game Kyryl talks a lot more and is more aggressive. It's a good thing for him."

Solomon Hill

On Derrick Williams being fouled:

"People are going to come after you on fast breaks. You have to watch yourself. The crowd was real into it. I felt like it was a game in Cleveland where every time Lebron got the ball the crowd booed."

On MoMo Jones:

"We were just clicking. His pushes have purpose. He's pushing to find people. He's coming back to his old self (referring to last year)."

On Jesse Perry:

"As soon as he comes in he ignites the floor. Today offensively he was at the rim or at the line. I joked that he's at the line just as much as Derrick and plays half the minutes he does. He's probably the most efficient on the team."

On the team's depth: "We try to wear teams down. I don't think other teams in the Pac-10 can go deep in their bench like we can. I think our team is real deep on all positions."

Jesse Perry

On the game:

"I'm still learning and just trying to help my teammates out. Coach really talks about offensive rebounding in practice. No matter who the starting five is, we are ready to play whether we start or not."
