Tucson, Ariz. (July 2) - The University of Arizona will play host to a women's gymnastics regional championship next spring, announced the NCAA on Wednesday. The 2004 NCAA South Central Region Championship will be held at the McKale Center on Saturday, April 3.
The Wildcats will still have to qualify to participate in the regional, which would mark their 18th consecutive post-season appearance. Arizona will also play host to the 2004 Pac-10 Championships just two weeks prior to the regional, on Saturday, Mar. 20.
The school last played host to an NCAA gymnastics regional in 2000.
