WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Deanna Graham has been recognized by the Pacific-10 Conference as Gymnast of the Week for the week of Feb. 7 through Feb. 13, commissioner Larry Scott announced today.

Graham, a junior native to Tucson, Ariz. won the all-around with a season high 39.250. Her scores from the meet contributed to the Wildcats' fourth and fifth consecutive wins against NC State and William and Mary this past weekend.

Despite battles with injury and illness this season, Graham has begun to make an impact once again scoring a 9.850 on bars to tie for second, a 9.725 to tie for second on beam, a 9.825 on floor to tie for second, and a 9.850 to close out the meet with a first place victory on vault.

This season, Graham has posted 12 scores of 9.800 or better, including one score of 9.90 in the season opener on floor at the Pac-10 Preview.

Not new to the all-around competition, Graham was one of the leading contributors for the Cats in the 2010 season, posting a total of 12 all around scores throughout the year. Graham was also the lone Wildcat to qualify for the NCAA National Championships, travelling to Gainesville, Fla. to compete in the all-around.

Graham also earned a spot in the Arizona Gymnastics Hall of Fame with her all-around high of 39.400, as well as was named to the Pac-10 All-Conference 1st Team for the all-around.

Graham's Gymnast of the Week Award is her first, and Arizona's 12th. The is Arizona's third consecutive week in the Pac-10 spotlight, as Graham is following both sophomore Aubree Cristello and senior Miranda Russell. Cristello earned Gymnast of the Week for the week of Jan. 31 through Feb. 6 and Russell earned Special Performance of the week for the week of Jan. 24 through Jan. 30.
