</B>The second-ranked <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Arizona</st1:State></st1:place> softball team (17-4) snapped its seven-game winning streak after a 3-2 loss at No. 14 Baylor (23-5) Saturday afternoon.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">With the game tied 2-2 in the sixth inning, BU second baseman Alex Colyer hit a solo home run off of UA reliever Taryne Mowatt to give Baylor the lead.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Mowatt (11-4) entered the game with a pair of runners on in the third inning and gave up two runs on to hits and four walks in 3.2 innings pitched.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Wildcat freshman Sarah Akamine started in the circle, tossing 2.1 one innings of one-run, four-hit work.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">BU scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second, but the Wildcats escaped what could have been a far worse inning for UA, as the first four Lady Bear hitters of the inning reached base safely.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Chelsi</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Lake</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> started things up by reaching on hit by pitch and a pair of Brette Reagan and Kirsten Shortridge infield singles loaded the bases for BU with no outs.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Courtney Oberg plated pinch runner Miriam Romero with a single to center, giving BU a 1-0 advantage.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The Wildcats took the lead from Baylor with a pair of runs in the top of the third on three hits.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Laine Roth led off the frame with a single down the right-field line and moved to second on a K&rsquo;Lee Arredondo sacrifice hit.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>After Adrienne Acton put runners on the corners with an infield single, Caitlin Lowe drove in UA&rsquo;s first run with a fielder&rsquo;s choice, scoring Roth and retiring <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Acton</st1:place></st1:City>.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Chelsie Mesa then gave the Wildcats the lead, and extended her hit streak to 18 games, with a run-scoring double to left.</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The game took a dramatic turn in the bottom of the third, as the first two BU hitters reached base.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>However, between the two hitters&rsquo; at-bats, two Baylor coaches ?
