On the loss at Washington:
"It's (losing) very hard. Losing is hard no matter what. We played three teams that we knew we could beat, and we did. We also have played three teams that we knew would be difficult to beat, and we haven't beaten any of them (Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington). But, our effort yesterday really was telling about our players. The players gave great effort yesterday. We felt that we would win that game, but we just didn't get it done a couple of times."
"Winning begets winning. It is hard sometimes for players to develop the feeling that they will win every game. Our players felt like they had that game, and they believed that we were going to win the game in the end. We can't give up even if we didn't win the game. We just have to keep on fighting through it and working hard to win."
