Arizona- Junior Year (2005-06):  Earned a 17-15 singles record ... Played mostly at the four spot ... Longest winning streak of the season was eight ... Partnered with Jessie Rochefort for most of the season at the No. 3 doubles, where they went 12-17.


 Arizona- Sophomore Year (2004-05): Went 15-20 in singles ... Reached the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Outdoor Championships ... Finished as runner-up at the Pac-10 Indoor Championship... Played the majority of the dual matches in the No. 5 position, where she had a 4-12 record ... Also went 1-1 at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 6 ... Went 2-2 with Jessie Rochefort in doubles matches ... All matches with Rochefort were dual matches at the No. 2 position.


Arizona ?- Freshman Year (2003-04): Did not compete for the majority of the season ... When competing, played primarily in the No. 4 position ... Went 3-12 when teamed up with senior Debbie Larocque in doubles.


Personal: Daughter of Gwidon and Hanna Jakowlew ... Father is a civil engineer... Mother is a kindergarten teacher ... Has one sister, Maria, 24 ... Born March 25, 1984 in Poland ... Academic area of interest is psychology.


Why Arizona? “I chose Arizona because of the excellent academic program, the competitive environment of Pac-10 tennis and the weather.”


Favorites:  Enjoys hanging out with friends ... Loves to go shopping in her spare time ... Likes to listen to music ... Appreciates the mountains in Tucson because they are great for hiking ... Plays pool on campus with friends ... Likes to cheer for her fellow Wildcat athletes ... Favorite place to play tennis (other than UA) is in Poznan, Poland.
