TUCSON, Ariz. ?C Former University of Arizona menˇ?s golfer Nathan Tyler lost his second round match Thursday at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
The 18th-seeded Tyler, who completed his collegiate eligibility last spring, fell 3 and 1 to No. 15 seed Kyle Dickey of Summerville, S.C. Tyler held an early 2-up lead through eight holes, but Dickey squared the match at No. 10. He took the lead for good on No. 14, beginning a streak of three wins over the last four holes played.
The 107th U.S. Amateur Championship runs through Aug. 26, at the Olympic Club. The Olympic Clubˇ?s Lakeside Course is a par-70, 6,948-yard layout.
