After the third day of competition at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships, the No. 5 Arizona men&rsquo;s swimming and diving team climbed into the second place position with 433 team points, only four points ahead of <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">California</st1:place></st1:State>.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'"><o:p> </o:p></SPAN><SPAN style="mso-tab-count: 1">T</SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">he Wildcats have tallied two conference champions and seven NCAA automatic qualifying times throughout three days of competition. Starting tonight&rsquo;s events was freshman Jack Brown in the 400 IM, as he finished seventh overall with a time of 3:51.82 and sophomore David Pursley finished 10<SUP>th</SUP> in the event with a time of 3:55.66.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="mso-tab-count: 1"> </SPAN>The Wildcats dominated the 200 free, as sophomore Nicolas Nilo finished third in with an automatic qualifying time of 1:34.78, junior Darian Townsend finished fourth (1:35.09) and senior Adam Ritter finished seventh (1:35.59). Freshman Jean Basson placed ninth overall in the event with a time of 1:36.86, as classmate Joel Greenshields finished 10<SUP>th</SUP> (1:37.88) and junior Bart Steninger finished 14<SUP>th</SUP> (1:38.94).</P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p> </o:p></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="mso-tab-count: 1"> </SPAN>Junior Albert Subirats finished fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 47.20 and junior Darren Maxwell finished 11<SUP>th</SUP> (48.50).
