TUCSON, Ariz.- After nearly two seasons of playing unranked by any of the collegiate baseball publications, the Arizona baseball team returned amongst the top 30 teams in the country in a pair of polls released on Monday. Baseball America has the 10-1 Wildcats as the No. 23 team in the country, while Collegiate Baseball places them 26th overall.

Arizona, which has gotten off to a fast start under new head coach Andy Lopez, was last ranked by Baseball America as the No. 25 team in its Feb. 28, 2000 poll. The Wildcats previous appearance in Collegiate Baseball's top 30 rankings came in the 2000 preseason poll.

The Wildcats will look to extend their five-game winning streak on their first road trip of the season this week. Arizona will take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a single game on Wednesday before heading to College Station, Texas, to play a three-game series with 30th-ranked Texas A&M, Friday-Sunday.
