2005-06 Season: Qualified for the 2006 NCAA Championships as one of eight freshmen... Finished 15th in the 100 free at the 2006 Pac-10 Championships (50.85)... Finished third in the 50 free against Arizona State (23.74)... Against California, swam the third leg of the second-place 200 free relay... Finished third in the 50 free against Stanford (23.85)... At the 2005 Texas Invitational, swam the first leg of the second-place 400 free relay, while finishing seventh in the 100 free (50.28) and 16th in the 50 free (23.03)... Placed second in the 100 free (51.86) and third in the 50 free against UCLA (23.68), while swimming the first leg of the first-place 200 free relay... Against USC, finished second in the 50 free (23.54) fifth in the 100 free (52.08) and anchored the first-place 400 medley relay...Finished third in the 50 and 100 free against Wisconsin and Penn State... Also swam the second leg of the first-place 200 free relay.


National & International Competition: 2006- Participated at Senior Nationals over the summer in the 50 and 100-meter free, as well as the 100-meter fly... Has competed at the Senior National level since age 13 in the 50 and 100 freestyle... Was a U.S. Open qualifier from 2000-2004... At the Junior National level, competed in five events.


Prep: Earned four varsity letters for swimming and was her team’s captain in 2004-05... Was the Illinois state champion in the 50 free in 2001 and 2004... Participated in four State Champion relays from 2002-2003... Honored as the Illinois Female Swimmer of the Year in 2004... Was the team’s most valuable swimmer from 2001-2004... Was a 16-time individual All-American... Posted school and pool records in the 50 and 100 free... Recipient of the Leadership Award for outstanding community service.


Personal: Born Lindsey Anne Kelly on Feb. 20, 1987 in Decatur, Ill. ... Father is Mike who graduated form the University of Oklahoma where he ran track and mother, Pam, graduated from the University of Illinois... Major is elementary education.
