EUGENE, Ore. -

Arizona volleyball fell to No. 16 Oregon 3-0, on Friday in its conference debut, 25-23, 25-10, 25-20.

Freshman Madi Kingdon (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the Wildcats in kills with 11, while senior Cursty Jackson (Los Angeles) led with two blocks. No players recorded digs in the double-digits.

Freshman Chloe Mathis (La Jolla, Calif.) added 16 assists for Arizona.

Alaina Bergsma led the Ducks with 16 kills and Milica Krstojevic added five blocks.

“We were anxious, uptight and never really got in a flow,” Arizona head coach David Rubio said. “It’s unfortunate because we were in position to win game one and didn’t and we never got comfortable. As a result we lost.”

Arizona will look to rebound at Oregon State on Saturday in Corvallis, Ore. at 7 p.m.
