TUCSON, Ariz.- The No.14 Arizona volleyball team saw its 10-match winning streak over Washington come to an end in the form of a dominating 3-0 sweep on Friday night. Game scores of the match were 30-25, 30-27, 30-18. The loss dropped Arizona's record to 11-8 overall and 6-5 in the Pac-10. Washington improved to 14-7 overall and even in the Pac-10 at 6-6 with the win.

As a team the Huskies could do little wrong. UW hit .395 for the match, collecting 57 kills on 114 swings with just 12 errors. In the first and third games, Washington hit .541 and .484, respectively. The Wildcats could muster just a .162 attack percentage and were out-blocked 11.5 to 8 at the net for the match.

Individually, UW's Sanja Tomasevic recorded a match-high 17 kills and also came up 12 digs. Teammate Paige Benjamin finished with 16 kills on .324 hitting and had 10 digs. Senior Lisa Rutlegde and freshman Bre Ladd were the only two Wildcats to factor in double-digits kills for Arizona with 12 and 11, respectively. Ladd also hit a team high .500

Arizona returns to the floor on Saturday for a grudge match with No. 17 Washington State. The Cougars snapped an eight-match losing streak to the Wildcats earlier this season in Pullman. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at McKale Center.
