TUCSON, Ariz.

The University of Arizona's Men's Golf is now in 15th place following the second round of action on Saturday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Wildcats posted a 24-over-par 312 score on Saturday with five players all shooting over par for the day. Jonathan Khan, the wildcats' sixth participant has withdrawn from the event.

California passed Texas A&M to lead the field after carding a 276 (-12). Texas A&M is now six strokes back after shooting a 296 (+8) on the day. Oklahoma State is four strokes behind the leader after the Cowboys shot 286 (-2) during today's action.

Jordan Russell of Texas A&M is still leading the field after carding a 71 (-1) but his lead has now been trimmed to two strokes. Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffmann and California's Stephen Hale are tied for second place after both shot a 68 (-4) today.

Wildcats Erik Oja and Juan Pablo Hernandez led the team with both of them post scores 76 (+4) to lead Arizona. Oja is tied for 34th place and Hernandez is tied for 49th after two rounds of play.

Ben Esparza, competing as an individual also shot a 76 (+4) today. John Kostis carded an 81 (+9) for the Wildcats. Both are currently tied for 59th place heading into Sunday's action. Tarquin MacManus posted a score of 79 (+7) today and is in 73rd place.

The Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters continues through Sunday at Southern Highlands Golf Course, a par-72, 7,510-yard layout. Live tournament scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.
