NASHVILLE, Tenn. ?C The Arizona womenˇ?s golf team finished tied for sixth at the Mason Rudolph Championship, which completed on Sunday. The Wildcats carded a six-over 294 in the final round to bring their total score to 877 (+13) after 54 holes of play.
UCLA won the tournament with a final score of 851 (-13), fourteen strokes ahead of second place finisher Arizona State.
Dukeˇ?s Amanda Blumenherst claimed the individual victory with a score of 203 (-13) after three rounds.
For the Wildcats, junior Adriana Zwanck carded a one-under 71 in the final round to bring her score to 214 (-2), good enough to finish in eighth place. Two strokes behind Zwanck was senior Alison Walshe, who finished even after three rounds of play to tie for tenth.
Senior Mary Jacobs tied for 31st place with a score of 222 (+6). Junior Amanda Wilson tied for 48th place after carding a three-over 75 in the final round on Sunday.
Freshman Alejandra Llaneza completed her first collegiate tournament with a score of 234 (+18) and finished in a tie for 77th place.
Competing as an individual was junior Marisa Smith, who finished in 90th place.
The Wildcats will next be in action September 24-26 when they travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the NCAA Preview.
