Arizona Head Coach Niya Butts and senior guard Davellyn Whyte (Phoenix, Ariz.) traveled to San Francisco, Calif. on Monday for the inaugural Pac-12 Women's Basketball Media Day.

The event featured all 12 teams in the conference, represented by each school's head coach and selected player. The day began with a photo session and continued with interviews, photo shoots and media sessions throughout the day at the newly built Pac-12 Enterprises.

In addition, representatives from the Pac-12 Network introduced players and coaches to technology within the Networks and innovations for the future of the conference.

"This is a very exciting time for players and coaches," Butts said. "(Pac-12 Media Day) is something that they will remember for a lifetime."

Arizona will host its local media day on Monday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 p.m.
