"I am very proud of all the ladies this week," head coach Laura Ianellosaid. "They showed a lot of heart in how they came back the last two rounds. We played the last nine holes 10 under par today, and it gave us a chance to be in contention. Margarita lead the way with a tie for ninth place, and Nikki, Manon, and Isa fought strong with good finishes. Kyndall was phenomenal the first two rounds but unfortunately struggled the last day, but was a huge contributor. I love this team and know we can win a national championship."
Arizona will be back to action at the NCAA Regional Championships May 10-12, and will find out which of the three courses they will be competing at on Monday, April 30. The 2012 regional locations are State College, Pa., Columbus, Ohio, and Erie Colo.
