WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The No. 15 Arizona volleyball team (7-2) extended its winning streak to five with a three-game sweep (30-25, 31-29, 30-23) of Temple this morning at the American Classic. The Wildcats hit a season-high .421 on the match and out-blocked the Owls 11-6. Arizona played without junior Jennifer Abernathy, who was resting sore shins.
Junior Bre Ladd finished with a season-high 16 kills and five digs to lead Arizona. Sophomore Kristina Baum added 13 kills, five digs and three blocks. Setter Stephanie Butkus dished out 40 assists and also posted a team-high-tying five blocks. Freshman Amy Dyck finished with career highs of nine kills, three digs and two blocks, while libero Kelli Mulvany posted a team-high 11 digs. Senior Jolene Killough notched five blocks.
