General:  The heart and soul of the ballclub ... A highly emotional player with a knack for igniting UA scoring runs ... Combines both power and athleticism at the guard spot and is a tenacious player on both ends of the court ... Has shown the ability to effectively score around the basket and on the perimeter ... 2003-04 (Sophomore):  Helped USA World Championship for Young Men Qualifying team post a 5-0 record and win the gold medal by averaging 10.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and a team-best 2.5 steals per game during the tournament in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada ... Best effort was a 15-point, three-rebound, five-steal performance in USA Basketball’s 87-64 win over Brazil on July 29 ... Honorable mention all-Pac-10 pick ... A Basketball Times all-Rockies selection ... A listed guard who slipped nicely into the four spot for Arizona ... Led the team with 515 points scored (17.2 ppg) and ranked second with a .542 FG percentage (47th nationally) and 45 blocks ... Became the 25th player (accomplished 41 times) in school history to score 500 points in a single season ... Ranked seventh in the Pac-10 with a .542 field goal percentage (.549 in Pac-10 play) ... Became the first freshman in the 18-year history of the Fiesta Bowl Classic to earn Most-Valuable-Player honors ... Among regulars, ranked fourth on the team with a 49.0 field goal percentage ... Ranked third on the club with 42 steals ... Brought a great deal of energy to the floor ... Seemingly started every big UA scoring run in 2002-03 with a wide variety of dunks ... Led the Comets to a 32-2 record and CIF Division I state championship ... At his best in big games, Adams totaled 24 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the state title win over Oakland Tech and poured in a game-high 30 vs. Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy ... A McDonald’s All-American who scored 13 points and added four boards and two assists in the game at Madison Square Garden ... Added nine points and three boards in the Jordan Brand Capital Classic in Washington, D.C. ... Invited to participate in the 2002 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Trials ... A second team prep All-America pick by SLAM magazine ... Played in the NBA Development Camp in New Jersey and the Nike Camp ...
