Leila Amini took a rebounded ball and put it past Cougar goalkeeper Brynn Bemis for the goal, for her first goal of the season.

?

ˇ?I was pleased with our response to being down 2-0,ˇ± head coach Dan Tobias said.? ˇ?The moral of the team kind of dropped after giving up the second goal, so getting a goal right after that was a big boost,ˇ± said sophomore forward Amini.

?

Washington State put the game away with another goal by Dallstream, off the right goal post, at the 66:42 mark.

?

ˇ?We didnˇ?t take care of the ball the way we normally do,ˇ± Tobias said.? ˇ?Itˇ?s disappointing to start off conference play with a loss, but we will bounce back Sunday.ˇ±
