TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona men's golfer Tarquin MacManus carded a three-over-par 75 Friday at the 2008 NCAA West Regional in Bremerton, Wash.

Playing as an individual, MacManus played the back nine at one under today, including three birdies, en route to a three-over 75. The freshman from Cairns, Queensland, Australia, moved into a tie for 96th place in the 141-man field at 11-over 155.

USC leads the 27-team field after 36 holes with a two-under 574 total. Oregon (579), Clemson (580), and UCLA (585) and Washington (585) rounded out the top-five places. Oregon's Joey Benedetti is the second-round leader individually after carding a six-under 138 tally.

The 2008 NCAA West Regional continues through Saturday at Gold Mountain Golf Club's Olympic Course, a par 72, 7,111-yard layout. Live tournament scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.
