Arizona Kicks Off Nationwide EA Sports NCAA Football Challenge

EA SPORTS will kick off a 16-campus tour for its second NCAA Football Challenge - featuring the best-selling NCAA Football 06 -on the University of Arizona Mall on Monday, August 29, beginning at 4 p.m.

The Arizona tournament will be held on UA Mall A and B. To qualify for the 2005 EA SPORTS NCAA Football Challenge competition, players can pre-register online at, the official EA SPORTS NCAA Football Challenge web site, or via on-site registration one hour before event start time. Only 128 competitors per campus will be allowed to participate, with competitors determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is limited to active students at each participating school.

 The 16-campus tournament will decide the nation’s best EA SPORTS NCAA Football player. Finalists will be flown to New York City, where they’ll rub shoulders with Heisman legends ?- past and present ?- and compete for a shot at $10,000 in the finals to be held December 9 and 10. The winner also receives an invitation to the exclusive Heisman Trophy Awards Dinner, where the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner will be honored.
